Kirsten Howley awarded Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Summer Internship UC Santa Cruz Astronomy graduate student Kirsten Howley was awarded a prestigious Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) summer internship. Her research will be carried out in the High-Energy-Density (HED) Physics Program which focuses on experimental, theoretical and computation research in the fields of hydrodynamics, atomic, plasma & inertial confinement physics, and radiation/particle transport. This division of LLNL awards 20 internship positions per year. |
