Astronomy Research Social - Thursday, April 10, 2008

The Spring Quarter Astronomy Research Social will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 3:30-5:00
in ISB 102.

The purpose of this event is to acquaint undergraduate students with research opportunities in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. All undergraduates who are interested in doing research are welcome. Students who seek a research project are strongly encouraged to find a faculty advisor, pick a topic, and start work over the summer.

Astronomy faculty, graduate students, and postdocs will discuss their research. Posters will be on display. Insight into research opportunities at NASA Ames and other institutions. Handouts describing research opportunities will be available.
