FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics will seek to provide you with financial support for your time as a graduate student in one of these forms: Graduate Student Researcher, Teaching Assistant, or internally awarded fellowships or external sources such as the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (https://www.nsfgrfp.org). Students are strongly encouraged to secure independent support during their entire academic career.
In addition to the Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant positions, the Department and Graduate Division offer additional fellowship opportunities based on both merit and need.
